“Roger Is The Reason I Watch Tennis”: Lindsey Vonn
Meanwhile, Vonn was asked about her friendship with 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer and his injury and comeback.
Lindsay replied, “I usually see him at tournaments. Because he was injured, it didn’t work out in the end. And of course because of Corona. I am sure he will return.”
“He’s so passionate about tennis – that’s why he’s been playing for so long. He gives so much to the sport. Roger is the reason I watch tennis. Sport is no longer the same without him. I hope he returns soon”, She added.
The 39-years-old professional tennis player declared himself he wants to end his career but not now.
Asking about Roger Federer’s retirement rumours, Lindsey explained, “He wants to play tennis as long as he can. Like I was skiing. But at some point, the body may say: “No, it’s too much.” I don’t know where Roger stands in this process.”
