“Amazing Job”: Novak Djokovic Congratulates Tokyo 2020 Olympic Medalists In Tennis

World No.1 Novak Djokovic sadly missed claiming a medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. At the same time, Serbian did not forget to congratulate his fellow medalists.  

In-form Djokovic cruised into the semifinal at the Olympiad without dropping a single set, but he fell in the last four to German Alexander Zverev in the three sets.

Afterwards, Serb lost his bronze medal match to Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta in another three-setter. Later on, he withdrew from the mixed doubles bronze medal match due to a shoulder injury. 

However, Novak Djokovic sent hearty congratulatory messages to Tokyo Olympic Gold Medalist in Tennis through his Instagram account. 

Djokovic wrote to men singles gold medalist German Alexander Zverev, “A big congratulations on gold, Sascha Alexander Zverev! Incredible, my friend.” 

Serb wrote to men singles medalists Russian Karen Khachanov(Silver), Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta(Bronze) and German Alexander Zverev(Gold), “Well done, gentleman.”

The 20-time Grand Slam champion wrote to women singles Gold Medalist Swiss Belinda Bencic, “Congrats Belinda Bencic Bravo!!”

The 9-time Australian Open Champion wrote to women doubles Gold Medalists the Czech Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova, “Amazing Job.”

The six-time year-end No.1 wrote to mixed doubles Gold Medalists Russian Andrey Rublev and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, “Congratulations to you both!”

The six-time Wimbledon Champion wrote to men doubles Gold Medalists Croatian Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic, “Congratulations.”
