No. 4 seed Alexander Zverev will lock horns with Serbian Dusan Lajovic for a Round of 16 spot at the Rolex Paris Masters 2021. Zverev received a first-round bye, while Lajovic reached the second round following a straight-sets(6-3, 6-4) win over American Mackenzie McDonald in Bercy this year.

Notably, Serb upset World No.2 Daniil Medvedev without losing a set(7-6, 6-4) at the Rotterdam Open and also stunned World No.11 Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets(7-5, 6-4) at the Canadian Open. 

In addition to this, Dusan reached the fourth round at the Australian Open and the second round at Wimbledon and the US Open. He is currently ranked No.34.
