Laver Cup is an indoor hard-court men’s tennis event between Team Europe and Team World. Moreover, the tournament was created by Roger Federer’s management company, Team 8, the former Brazilian Davis Cup player Jorge Paulo Lemann and Tennis Australia. 

The fantastic racket sport event is named after Australian tennis legend Rod Laver. Each team is comprehended by six players and led by a team captain. The captain of Team Europe is Bjorn Borg, and the captain of Team World Is John McEnroe. 

The event has taken place every year since 2017. The inaugural event was held at the O2 arena in Prague, where Team Europe defeated Team World 15-9.

In addition to this, the second edition occurred in 2018 at the United Center, Chicago, where Team Europe conquered Team World 13–8. Most recently, the third edition was held in 2019 at the Palexpo, Geneva, where Team Europe stunned Team World 13−11. 

Where Is The Laver Cup 2021?

The venue of the Laver Cup rotates between Europe and the rest of the world’s cities each year. And it takes place every year, the second week after the US Open.

However, the fourth edition of the Laver Cup will take place from 24th to 26th September 2021 at TD Garden in Boston, the most populous city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States.

Laver Cup 2021 Team Europe players are Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berrettini and Casper Ruud.
