The world number nine has reached the city and is staying in a hotel which is very close to the stadium. Diego was the last person to qualify for London, and the Argentine is excited about the upcoming tournament.
When asked about how he will be playing against the best, Diego said that one has to be at his best. He answered, “I have to be one hundred percent to beat the top ten.” Additionally, he said that if one does not play at the very best, it will get very difficult. The ATP Finals tournament will be in a round-robin format. When asked about his preference of rivals, Diego said, “It is hard to choose.” Comparing the modern tennis players with the players of Juan’s, his coach time, Diego said, “Now most of the players play well on all of the surfaces.”
Moreover, Diego answered that we would choose players who are more like him. He said, “The reality is that everyone plays better and better on all surfaces.”
