Rafael Nadal holds several records on his name, especially, he is thirteen times champion at Roland Garros. But, winning a title at the ATP Finals would be a nightmare for Spaniard. And while Rafa qualified for nine times, he reached finals twice.
However, Nadal has now included in the ATP finals draw for the tenth time. And also he began preparation ahead of the opening clash against Andrey Rublev. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal’s former coach and uncle Toni Nadal is confident that his nephew arrived in London this year with adequate preparation.
In a recent Newscast with rtve, Toni said, “This tournament has always cost him dearly in the past, it is the track that hurts the most for him, and several times he has arrived tired. We can’t forget that all the matches played here are against the best in the world, so every victory is expensive.”

Speaking about Nadal’s preparation for the London Masters event, Toni expressed, “What I saw of Rafael Nadal in training is interesting. It is obvious that he hits the ball very well.”
One year after Rafael Nadal played on the indoor hard court last week at the Rolex Paris Masters 2020. Besides, he lost to Alexander Zverev before reaching final in the straight sets. Uncle added, “He(Rafa) did it before going to Paris, but he could not translate it into a tournament, where he did not play at his level. He arrives in London well prepared and with possibilities to do better than in Paris.”
Rafael Nadal has been handed a tough draw with Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Andrey Rublev. The former coach eventually went on to say, “This group is going to be difficult; everyone can qualify.”
