The Russian is all set to play at the ATP 500 in Vienna this week. Moreover, he cannot stop but express his excitement. Also, his willingness to win can be seen in his eyes.
In his latest interview, he revealed how motivated he is, and his optimism shows his sportsmanship to a great extent. “I am very motivated. I am at a stage of the season where I can only be positive. Last year I didn’t play Vienna, I lost in the first round in Paris-Bercy, and I didn’t win any games in the ATP Finals.” Medvedev said, talking about his rough time across the season.

“Now, only good things can happen to me. I am very motivated to have as many victories as possible to add more points and fight for the ranking.” Medvedev continued speaking about his optimism. Further, he also revealed that Vienna is somewhat very high on the competition level because he needs to buck up.
Russian continued, “If we look at the name of each player, we are surprised. There are many players in the top 10, and there are very strong rounds. It will be a great challenge, and I will have to do my best to fight for the title.”
Furthermore, he expressed his wish to perform well and reach the semi-final to play against rival Dominic Thiem. Additionally, he said this because he lost to Dominic in the US Open semi-final. “I don’t want to have goals, but it would be nice to reach the semi-finals and play against Thiem. It’s a game that everyone wants to see.” Medvedev concluded.
