World No.52 Corey “COCO” Gauff turned 16 years old on 13th March. How is it a special birthday for Gauff? The next Gauff stepped into Wimbledon using a wildcard. Concurrently, Gauff lost to eventual champion Simona Halep of Romania in the fourth round.
At the US Open 2019, Corey Gauff played through wild card entries, however, 15-years-old Continued her Grand slam success on home soil as well. In the hardcourt tennis tournament matches, Gauff upset Anastasia Potapova and Timea Babos. Eventually, Gauff was eliminated with a third-round loss to World No.1 Naomi Osaka of Japan in the straight sets(3-6, 0-6).
