ATP Finals is all set to begin on 15th November 2020 and different predictions, guesses have started coming from former players, analysts, etc. Additionally, on behalf of the Metro Daily, Tim Henman had a good time during the predictions for the tournament that is starting on Sunday.

Looking at the performances during recent times, Novak Djokovic is the favourite to win the tournament for Henman. However, Henman knows that Nadal cannot be underestimated. Besides, Nadal recently won his 20th Grand Slam of the career. Additionally, Henman believes that the Spaniard is in an excellent physical condition.

However, the exciting part is that there is another player who has impressed Tim the most. Andrey Rublev, the Russian and the current world number 8, has been able to make a mark on Tim.

Tim Henman on talking about Rublev said, “When you look at the level of tennis offered by Rublev, you have to see the immense progress the Russian has made this season.” Additionally, Henman also talked about the incredible statistics of the 23-years old this year. Besides, Rublev has seven titles to his name, out of which five has come this year only. 

Henman added, “We knew he was going to be strong.” Comparing Rublev to his early times, Henman said, “He was a bit from the start. But today, he is a different player if we compare him to his first matches on the circuit.”

Moreover, Tim Henman also mentioned how Andrey was unstable in his career in the beginning. However, things have changed from that time. “Now Andrey Rublev knows that in order to play his best tennis, he has to control his emotions.”

Additionally, Rublev has won the highest number of ATP titles this year, surpassing Novak Djokovic. With such confidence behind his back, Rublev will fancy his chances in the coming tournament in London 2020.
