Serena Williams, while confirmed that conversations are going on between Djokovic and herself, refused to reveal her decision on signing for the formation of a new Players’ Association.
Recently, Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil resigned from their respective positions in the ATP. This created a divide in the tennis world as both of them are trying to form a new association. Additionally, many tennis greats have already expressed their opinions against this formation, including Federer, Nadal. Additionally, Andy Murray also expressed his suggestions for the new players’ union.
While some criticized this due to the non-inclusion of female players, some raised questions regarding the timing. However, Djokovic is going ahead to involve female players in the game. With conversations going on between Djokovic and Serena, they might come up with some conclusions.
“Right Now My Focus Is On US Open”- Serena
Williams said, “Well, yeah, we spoke a little bit right before, like a day before, day of the tournament. And that was between me and him.”

Although, Serena did throw some light on the conversation going on. She said, “Well, I am very good at holding my tongue. And right now, as I said I am really focused on the tournament. The conversation was between me and Novak.”
