Whenever sports personality talks or shares their opinion on controversial issues beyond sports, there are some crazy over that sports person. People started to talk that sportspeople should not involve this controversy, they hear just to play. However, two times Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka criticizes those people who tell her just to stick on sports.

Following the death of unarmed African American George Floyd, the entire United States erupts by protests and demonstrations. Several tennis stars like Serena Williams, Coco Gauff, and Naomi Osaka raised their voice for the justice protests.

Former World No.01 Naomi Osaka tweets some of the protest videos and called for stop racism. But her active involvement in this protest annoyed a few of her fans. At the same time, Followers wrote sportsperson don’t get involved in politics.

A Haitian and Japanese tennis star Osaka replied to those people on twitter. She wrote on Thursday, “I hate when random people say athletes shouldn’t get involved with politics and just entertain. Firstly, this is a human rights issue. Secondly, what gives you more right to speak than me? By that logic, if you work at IKEA you are only allowed to talk about the “GRÖNLID?”

More than 68k people like her post and also receives positive and negative comments. It seems Naomi never stops her voice against racial discrimination. Earlier, she condemned the black square posters on social media.

One of her follower comment on Noami Osaka’s tweet, “Sports and Politics do not Mix”. She replied that “I hope that fish eats you”.
