“I am Playing Well, But I Have To Win More Matches On This Surface”: Rafael Nadal
The Spaniard also identified some of his areas of play that he doesn’t think of as ‘bad’ but would like to work on. He believes it is a process and decides to go on. The 34-year-old does think he is playing well, but wishes to win a couple of more on this surface!
“There are quite a few areas where I don’t play badly, but I haven’t played hard for almost a year. It’s part of the process, of course. I have to go ahead. Chain matches help. These matches are important tests for me to improve myself constantly. So, I believe, and I hope it will help me improve. I think I am playing well. But I have to win more matches on this surface.”, The Spaniard said.
Nadal will play next against Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain, and he insists he won’t be taking his fellow compatriot for granted. The 29-year-old Carreno Busta has slim chances of making the Nitto ATP Finals, but he still holds hope and aims to give it his best shot.
