The World Team Tennis tournament 2020 is the first professional tennis tournament to take place after the enforced break due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, The tennis star Venus Williams is back on the court better than ever, participating for the 15th time in the World Team Tennis.
The 40-year-old American is a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion and is still going strong. The former world number one plays at the WTT for the Washington Kastles. The WK is one of the franchises that compete in the WTT.
Recently, WTT posted on their official twitter account a video of the tennis star entering the court, appreciating her high spirits and style.

WTT: First To Resume Operations…
World Team Tennis is the ongoing tennis tournament, the first major tennis event to resume its functioning after the imposed lockdown. The event will take place throughout 21 days from July 12 to August 2 this year. The management decided to keep the event restricted to The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs in West Virginia, due to the ongoing pandemic.
Only 500 people can enter the stadium and masks are mandatory for all. Moreover, frequent temperature checks are also taking place to ensure safety for all.
The elder Williams has been playing professional tennis for three decades. She still intimidates her opponents when she steps onto the court. She is one of the All-Time Greats of women tennis, along with her sister Serena.
