Naomi Osaka moves into the finals of the US Open 2020 after defeating Jennifer Brady in what was a very tough match for both the players. But, at the end of the day, it was the world number nine who came victorious in the hard-fought match. Additionally, Osaka won the match by 7-6 (7-1), 3-6 and 6-3.

Besides, this would be the second US Open final for the Japanese star. After winning the match, she said, “I kind of consider New York as my second home. I really love the atmosphere. Even though there are no people here, I really feel like this court really suits me well.”

Additionally, she said, “I just felt like I wanted to come out of quarantine being positive and not really caring if I win or lose. I was sticking it out and it felt like we were trading serves.”

Talking about the play, Osaka told, “I think I tried to adjust a little bit on her serve in the third set so maybe that helped.”

“She(Azarenka) Seems Really Confident Now”- Naomi Osaka

The 22-year-old will now face Victoria Azarenka in the finals of the tournament, who defeated Serena Williams in the other semi-final fixture.

“She seems really confident now. She’s moving well. I don’t know. I don’t try to think about, you know, other matches right after the match that I just finished. But should be tough if I do play her.”, the former world number one player Naomi concluded.
