Spanish tennis star Garbine Muguruza often shares moments of training sessions, events and off-court adventures in her social media pages. As a result, several thousands of fans follow her social media accounts. However, the two-time Grand Slam champion admitted that she would like to handle her social media accounts although it takes her time.

After winning a title at 2017 Wimbledon, Garbine had gained more than 100,000 new followers. She has now more than 792K followers on Instagram, 525K followers on Facebook, and 501K followers on Twitter.

The 27-years-old Spaniard has been uploading various images and TikTok videos, which looks more creative and attractive. In a recent interview, Former World No.1 said “99% yes” when asked ‘do you doing everything’ like taking photos and videos, working on editing, and uploading. 

Muguruza continued, “Although I need approvals or filters from time to time to avoid messing it up (laughs), I like taking photos, videos, adventure and action themes. I do it through Instagram, which is the most visual network.” (Quotes translated into English via Google translator)

World No.15 also emphasised that she loves to see how other people use social media and believe it helps her stick to her fans.    

“It attracts me to handle it even if it takes me time because I also love to see how other people do it, and it is a good way to get closer to my followers. During the pandemic, I have been able to explore it poorly.”, Garbine added.

Looking forward to another a successful year, Muguruza begins the 2021 season at the Abu Dhabi WTA 500 event, which runs from January 5-13. Later, she will compete at the Australian Open, where she was a previous year finalist.
